TRACEABILITY
Ensuring Quality in Every Step of Our Hibiscus Production
08
Customer Delivery & Records
Sales documentation, delivery notes, and customer feedback complete the traceability loop. Feedback from buyers and consumers is used to improve quality, while traceability records support audits, certifications, and export requirements.

07
Storage & Transportation
Packaged hibiscus is stored in clean, dry, and pest-free warehouses under controlled conditions. Dispatch records track the movement of each batch to wholesalers, retailers, or export partners, maintaining traceability throughout the supply chain.

06
Packaging & Batch Coding
The dried calyces are packed in food-safe, moisture-proof bags or containers to preserve freshness. Each package is labeled with batch numbers, product details, and traceability codes (e.g., QR or barcodes). Batch coding ensures regulatory compliance and allows the product to be traced from farm to shelf.

05
Processing (Cleaning, Drying & Sorting)
Freshly harvested calyces are cleaned to remove dirt and foreign matter. They are then dried at controlled temperatures to preserve color, flavor, and nutritional quality. Once dried, calyces are sorted and graded according to size and quality standards. Processing records link each batch back to the farm and harvest date.

04
Harvesting
Hibiscus calyces are harvested manually at the right maturity stage, ensuring optimal color, taste, and nutrient retention. Harvesting is conducted under hygienic conditions to minimize contamination. Each harvest event is logged with details of quantity, date, and responsible workers.

03
Crop Management & Monitoring
Throughout the growth cycle, the crop is managed with irrigation, weeding, pruning, and pest/disease control. Farmers use sustainable agricultural practices, and regular field monitoring ensures healthy plant development. Records of input use, labor, and field activities are maintained for accountability.

02
Land Preparation & Planting
The land is prepared through plowing, soil enrichment with compost or organic fertilizers, and leveling for proper drainage. Seeds or seedlings are planted with correct spacing and depth to optimize yield. Planting logs and field maps capture the date, location, and farm details.

01
Seed Sourcing & Propagation
Hibiscus seeds or seedlings are procured from certified suppliers or local seed banks to ensure high germination rates and varietal purity. Source records are maintained, including supplier details, seed type, and lot numbers, establishing the starting point of traceability.
